Tuesday morning update

Restless night, though we slept about 5 miles from the fire (shown above) we smell like we slept in the fireplace.  The Spicewood fire is one of a number of fires in central Texas and probably the 2nd largest, behind the very devastating Bastrop fire which has burned over 500 homes thus far and 25,000 acres.  So far this year over 1MM acres have burned in Texas, an area larger than the state of Connecticut.

As far as the markets are concerned, I haven’t paid too much attention, but the pink line should contain the move if my count is on, otherwise look for a retest of 1100 and a likely new low.

Thanks for the dramatic photos. Makes me think twice about doing my back yard garbage burns.
